'Alice's Wonderland Adventures' Dance Showcase

Over 80 students from across all year groups at Stamford High School and Stamford School have performed a showcase of dance, themed around ‘Alice’s Wonderland Adventures’.Students have been rehearsing for the production since the start of the Autumn term, fitting in rehearsals around their studies and other co-curricular activities. Using a narrative provided to them, alongside some staff guidance, the students choreographed each section of the show; allowing them to develop their teamwork, musicality and the artistry they are able to display through dance.Mrs Nicola Watson, Teacher of Drama and Producer of the Dance Showcase, said: “The students have worked tremendously hard, and have shown clear commitment when choreographing and polishing their dances. We have some very talented choreographers and outstanding performers. There has been a real team spirit, with students working in mixed age group teams. It’s been so great to see the inclusive nature of the show, with our students who are newer to dance performing alongside more experienced performers.”Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0000Alice in Wonderland Dance ShowcasDance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0001Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0002Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0003Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0004Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0005Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0006Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0007Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0008Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0009Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0010Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0011Dance Showcase - Alice in Wonderland _0013
