Over twenty Year 11 Academic Scholars from across Stamford School and Stamford High School have visited Christ’s College, Cambridge, on a cultural trip to view the university and receive advice from Admissions Tutors.Alongside a tour of the college from current undergraduates, students had lunch in the College Buttery, received advice on how to make their A Level choices and competitive university applications, and were offered the opportunity to ask questions to key admissions staff.Karen Leetch, Head of Scholars, said: “We are very fortunate in being able to maintain our long-standing links with Christ’s College. The students found Admissions Tutor, Dr King’s, presentation very valuable in helping them to think about sensible A Level choices and how to build their supra-curricular (as opposed to extra-curricular) profile in Year 12 if they want to apply to Russell Group universities.”
