Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the School on a normal working day.
You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the senior team over tea and coffee.
Junior School (Reception – Year 6):
Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am
Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

On Thursday 31 August, we had the pleasure of welcoming back 19 Old Stamfordians for a special hockey match event that brought together past and present generations of OS. As part of pre-season preparations for the the 1st XI hockey team, they played against the alumni team.
The closely fought match concluded with a 2-1 victory for the school team, although at 1-1 the OS team had chances to score that could have changed the game. and certainly added to the excitement. However, the match was more about the sense of camaraderie and nostalgia rather than the final score, and the OS team was all smiles at the end of the match, if a little red in the face!
The match was a testament to the enduring connection many of our Old Stamfordians have with Stamford. The leaving years of the team spanned from 1993 to 2023 and was the first time that this particular team had played together, making the score line even more respectable!
With close to 100 people, including the players, enjoying a free hog roast courtesy of the Old Girls' Guild, the weather didn't dampen the evening, and we look forward to enjoying more OS fixtures in the future.
