Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the Schools on a normal working day.

You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the Principal and senior team over tea and coffee.

Junior School (Reception – Year 6):
Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am

Senior School (Year 7 – Year 11):
Wednesday 15 May 10am – 11.30am

Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.

    Our School Shop

    The School Shop on St Paul’s Street is the go-to location for all SES uniform.

    If you are joining the School and buying uniform for the first time, we recommend you book an appointment where our experienced staff will be able to make sure you get everything you need for your first day.

    If you cannot attend the shop in person, they do a phone service. We also run an internal postal system that means if you need kit delivering to your child, you can ring through and order in the morning and it will be with your child for the afternoon.

    The School Shop also sells a wide range of sports equipment including Grays Hockey, Gilbert Rugby, Gray-Nicholls Cricket as well as mouthguards, swimming gear and racket sports equipment.

    10% discount in-store on all equipment for holders of the Stamford Card.

    Junior School 

    This is the complete list of uniform for children entering school. 

    We are currrently going through a uniform update - the logo is going to be white on all items and we are only providing navy bags where previously we had red for girls for example. These 'older colourful' items will still be able to be used up until September 2024 when all uniform will need to be as listed above.

    This is your guide as to what your child should be wearing when attending school. There are always excepetions but please contact the shop if you have any questions as to how or when items should be worn, they will be more than happy to help you.

    We also offer sports such as fencing where specialist kit and equipment is needed, and this isn't included on the list.
