Book for our Discovery Mornings
Discovery Mornings are a chance to explore the Schools on a normal working day.
You and your family will tour the School in the company of one of our pupils and will meet the Principal and senior team over tea and coffee.
Junior School (Reception – Year 6):
Wednesday 15 May 8.45am – 10am
Senior School (Year 7 – Year 11):
Wednesday 15 May 10am – 11.30am
Spaces at a Discovery Morning are limited so that you can have as much time as you need to see the School at your own pace and discuss your child as an individual.
Stamford School and Stamford Junior School Discovery Mornings offer parents the chance to visit our Schools on a normal school day. By doing this you can discover what makes life at Stamford so enriching.
Discovery Mornings are an ideal way to get an in depth look and feel for the Schools, whilst meeting our Senior Leaders and our best ambassadors – the students themselves! The mornings consist of refreshments along with the chance to meet key members of the Senior Leadership Team, including the Principal, the Heads of Pastoral, Academic Learning, Safeguarding and Learning Support.
You will also be able to ask questions to the Admissions Team as well as the Heads of Sport, Music, and Scholars. We hope these mornings help you discover more about the school and enable you to make an informed decision for your child’s future.
Our taster mornings are specifically aimed at students looking to experience a real school day at Stamford School. We hope that by offering students the chance to Experience Stamford we will give them a real flavour of Stamfordian life, with lessons in a variety of subjects from Geography to PE, Water Polo to Maths.
Experience Stamford events are held throughout the year for key entry year groups across the Senior School. Students join us for a morning of lessons, experiencing transfers around site, learning in different parts of the campus with a PE or Games lesson in our state-of-the-art sports facilities as well as a break and lunchtime with our current students in the dining hall.
